RECIPROCITY +REGENERATION = MAGIC
The “Planting Magic” project is a long-term initiative with three main goals that align with our foundation’s mission:
Goal #1: Yage Medicinal Plant Cultivation
We will plant and sustainably process Yage on 30 hectares, starting in 2025, with plans to expand in the future. Yage takes 5-7 years to mature, so we expect to begin harvesting around 2031 or 2032. This medicinal plant will be used to:
Goal #2: Food Sovereignty & Traditional Agriculture
We will cultivate 2 hectares of community food forests and 5 hectares of medicinal plants to teach sustainable farming practices, combining permaculture and ancestral methods. The local community will share in the harvest, and the food and medicines produced will be donated during health brigades. We’ll also employ local workers to assist in growing and preparing these medicines.
Goal #3: Land Stewardship & Regeneration
The remaining 13 hectares will be used for soil regeneration and land preservation. Future projects may include sustainable fish ponds, more Yage cultivation, or building a maloka for ceremonies.
This project aims to empower the local community, restore biodiversity, and preserve sacred lands for future generations.
